Payment Information

Payments for co-pays as well as for services not covered by insurance are due at time of service. We accept cash, check and credit card (Discover, Visa and MasterCard). We accept Medicare and most other major medical insurances, but it is best to check with your insurance provider before your appointment.

If your insurance requires it, please obtain a referral before your appointment. For any questions regarding payment, call 785-242-4242 X101.

The Three O’s of Eye Care

Ophthalmologist M.D., medical doctor or D.O., doctor of osteopathy

Physician who diagnoses and treats ocular diseases. They can perform surgeries and prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses. We have two on staff.
Optometrist O.D., optometric doctor

Doctor who performs eye exams and vision tests, prescribes, supplies and fits eyeglasses, contact lenses, and in most cases, can prescribe medications and eye drops. They also diagnose eye abnormalities. We have one on staff. When medication or surgery is needed, they may refer patients to an ophthalmologist.
Opticians

Clinicians who manufacture, fit, supply and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses prescribed by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. We have three on staff.
